We are Sylvan Park Smiles Dentistry

Starting off by saying, I hate going to the dentist. I get really anxious and it’s always scary for me. But I’ve never once had a bad experience at Sylvan Park Smiles. The front desk staff is always so kind and welcoming, and I really appreciate how straightforward they are with pricing, never any surprises. I’ve seen multiple hygienists over time, but at my most recent visit I had Ivannia, and it was hands down the best experience I’ve had. She was unbelievably kind and made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I recommend this office to friends all the time because every visit has been such a positive experience.

Highly recommended!! I have been here for five visits over the past two years and they have all been wonderful! Dr. Griffin is very thorough and does an amazing job with the exams and the overall appointment. Sarah and Ashley are an amazing office team, very friendly and helpful.

TLDR: A++ I have been a patient of Dr. Burton since November '25 and can honestly say I'm very happy with my experience with Sylvan Park Smiles. I shopped around, called multiple dental offices and they are one of a few places that had everything I needed in-house. My needs included some major dental work including extractions along with a bridge and crowns. Let me break down some stuff: Their pricing is better than a lot of their competitors. The front office will work with you financially if you have insurance or not - there's good financing options. They have great communication. Their work is top-notch. The team is talented and only getting better. They have a ton of next-gen technology. The team actually cares. I've truly enjoyed getting to know each team member. And that is just a start IMHO. Honestly, if you're looking for a collaborative partner for your teeth and oral health, you don't have to look much further. Do your due diligence though...one size doesn't fit all. Here's some of the team that's been helping me with my journey: When you call, talk to Sarah or Ashley, they will help you with all the front office needs. Both of them are wonderful and knowledgeable. Jessander and/or Hunter will be part of your team while in the chair with Nevaeh there to assist. I'd bet that they are the dream team for Dr Burton. Dr. Burton is fantastic. I could write another review just on him, his knowledge and talents. I'm very happy to have him as my dentist in Nashville. To the 1 star reviews: Some of y'all are Karen's. Some seem very over exaggerated. The common denominator of insurance/pricing- that's on you for not doing your homework or having bad insurance. If this is how you treat your dentist, I can only imagine how infuriating you are to your server, mechanic, family, etc.. Thanks Sylvan Park Smiles, team!
